I never chose not to be there for you.  Your mother made that choice.  That was hers to make.  I think you have a right to know your family.  At this point you have two wonderful great-grandparents still living, and your grandfather and me on this side. You have an uncle who is heartbroken not to know you.  We aren't perfect, but we wanted to be family for you.  We chose to back off even though your mother never even told us to back off.  She just stopped talking to us. She stopped talking to her grandparents, and all of us, and her old friends and the boss she worked for here--a fine lady who really loved her.  That is what it is. We were ne

I haven't been here in a long time, and the simple reason is that I have lost too much eyesight to do artwork or enjoy artwork as I once did. Very nearsighted people are prone to stretching and detachment of the retina.  In my case this is made worse by the vitreous jelly in my eyes pulling away from the retina.  After many months the process shows no sign of completing and I have a sort of "wrinkle" through the middle of my vision, especially on the left.  My retinas are loaded with a protein deposit called "drusen," too.  This protein crowds the rods and cones you need to see.  The upshot is that I've lost a lot of acuity.  In some parts o

Hi! I'm sorry to ask you this, but I wanted your permission to use your image for a presentation about Autism... it's for school, I promise I'm not getting any profit with it, I just want people to be aware of autism.
Of course I'm gonna credit you!

I sent you a note.  I hope I'm not too late.  I'd be glad to see my work used that way.  I just wish I'd seen this comment much sooner.  Sincerely, Silky
Hi! Thank you so much but in the end I didn't use it because I didn't got your answer... it would have looked awesome though

So, I don't really know how digital art works (like, at all), so I don't feel qualified to offer any kind of advanced critique or anything... but... I can tell you that I think your work is stunning and thought-provoking and I love looking at it.

Thank you for creating such beauty.
