Hi, I'm BAAAAACK! Missed you all, missed Google...! I made a lot of progress at the physical and occupational therapy I got at the hospital, and I think my pain is under better control. It's good to be getting on my feet again, even if only for a couple of minutes at a time. The hospital food was great!!!! absolutely delicious and well-prepared, and everybody was super nice. Some of the other patients about broke my heart with their grace, fortitude and great attitude in the face of problems ever so much worse than any of mine. A few of the very oldest patients, obviously, were close as could be to the veil and I could feel their detachment from their suffering; and, frankly, I was sorry that they were being subjected to the demands of therapy because I just didn't see the point. That was a very sobering component to the experience and a good reminder to me--**carpe diem**! I didn't really expect to get home this soon, but I got sick twice while I was there and that might be why. If there's a virus around to catch, I'll catch it.

Note: don't take Cipro with Zanaflex (tizanidine.) Even if the doctor, nurse, and pharmacist all miss the contraindication. I mean, really, don't do it. You'll be sorry if you do.

Thanks for all the faves, comments, and all. I really appreciate the kindness shown me in my last journal. Again, though, this wasn't a scary or dangerous hospitalization. It was all good.

This time around I'm faving less and commenting almost not at all. IE has been locking up on me when I try to comment, anyway. IF I've faved your work there's a 90% chance I'm featuring it as well! And I probably missed some nice pieces, darn it. There are 261 I'm just leaving for later because I need to stop now.

I'm not going to stress about this.
